Tell us what you hate about Nsyght

Hi Everyone!

Just to let you know our first post-beta release is imminent (~1 week). We have a number of bug fixes and some pretty kick-ass new features to roll out as well.

However, I would be remiss if I didn’t ask you, the user, what you hate about Nsyght. Excuse me?? Yes you heard me right, what don’t you like about Nsyght?

Sometimes the best way to improve a site is to add more features, and other times its best to actually remove some as well. Now is your chance to let us know what you wish you could change about Nsyght.

To help get the ball rolling, I’ll start off with a list of my own gripes:

Magnolia Integration - There I said it. It sucks, we know it. It worked great up until Magnolia upgraded their oauth lib back in January, and ever since it has never worked 100%. Sadly since we are a small team its taken time to hunt down the problem. All I can say is, it will be fixed, and soon.

The “pages” page - The problem with a small service like ours is signal vs. noise. As most of our users join and syndicate their bookmarks from del.icio.us, magnolia, or simpy, this page can be drowned out with a lot of noise very quickly.

deeper twitter integration - This was also suggested by Mike Butcher.
