1. Which other languages should we support?

Posted: February 25th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Uncategorized | No Comments »

So we’ve had a great deal of success with our Turkish localization, so I thought I’d reach out and ask what other languages should we be looking to support next?

Sure, we could probably support every language you’ve ever heard of and even some you haven’t at the drop of a hat, but fundamentally it’s important to follow the lead of our users. So, what I’d like to ask is that everyone either tweet, post on Get Satisfaction, or even comment in this blog which language they would like to see next. Sorry, for this tranche, we wont consider Pirate, Klingon, or Esperanto. :)

As a FYI, our current hit list includes (in no order):

    1. Portuguese

    2. German

    3. Mandarin Chinese

    4. French

    5. Spanish

    6. Russian

Let us know what you think!

  2. Merhaba my friend! Nsyght now speaks Türkçe

Posted: February 19th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Uncategorized | No Comments »

Nsyght is seeing a lot of growth all over the world, so part of our strategy since day one has been to focus on more than just the English market. Sure, people who use twitter and Facebook might know a little English, but if your going to go to a foreign country, it is really bad form to just *assume*.

So, we have launched support for our first non-English language. Turkey. Turkey is a fantastic market, has an incredibly passionate and social networking-savvy audience, and is one of the youngest populations in Europe.

We are not ending here though. We have a lot of users in places like Brazil, France, Germany, and even China! If you would like your local language to be supported, please get in touch with us or post a message to our Feedback widget.

  5. Great review at thenextweb.com

Posted: February 5th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Uncategorized | No Comments »

Martin over @ tnw just posted a great review of nsyght. In his words:

As such, the effect is more of being a ’social dashboard’ that routes discussions around content to and from the original sources, but allows you to see it all in one place.

  6. Saddle up and let’s go dancing: nsyght to demo at SXSW!

Posted: January 20th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Uncategorized | No Comments »

    Great news.

SXSW InteractiveThis morning we found out that nsyght was selected to take part in this year’s DigitalMission to attend and demo at SXSW Interactive this March! The team and I are very excited to take part and to be representin’ our startup brethren over in Austin.

This will be a unique trip for me as this will be my first time to attend SXSW, but also its a return trip to my home state of Texas. I’m sure this will not mean a thing to the attendees or judges, but anyone else coming over with DigitalMission can be sure to turn to me for suggestions and advice on BBQ and cool places to grab a cold one.

If you are planning to attend SXSW, be sure to drop us a line or follow @djhomeless on twitter. Looking forward to it!

Our connection with twitter is not currently functioning, and it seems the twitter homepage is giving everyone the fail whale.

Our connection to other services is not affected. Will update once everything is hunky dory again!

  8. CEO of wayn.com weighs in on nsyght

Jerome Touze gives a fairly in-depth review of nsyght. Jerome is the co-founder and CEO of the travel social network, Where Are You Now? (www.wayn.com).

Jerome is not only a fan of nsyght, but he’s also one of our investors. They say that ideas are cheap, its all about the execution and the team. Well let me just say, we are pretty excited to have Jerome in our corner! Have a read!
